Lake Summit

Submit your application to attend the Lake Summit, the upcoming Urbit developer conference. This summer, on a beautiful lake just an hour’s drive from Atlanta, GA, Urbit developers will showcase what they’ve been working on, discuss future projects, and (let’s face it, it’s June in Georgia) probably do a lot of swimming in the lake. Make sure to apply soon, because the deadline is May 17th. We can’t wait to see you all there.

Urbit Systems Technical Journal

The Urbit Systems Technical Journal, the first and only journal of solid-state computing, is now available to order.

Featuring a look back at the Urbit whitepaper from UF CTO Ted Blackman, a disquisition on floating-point determinism from UF’s Neal Davis, and much more, the USTJ is the journal for discussing all the most interesting problems in the space.

Free copies of USTJ will be made available to all attendees of this year’s LambdaConf, where UF’s Neal Davis, Liam Fitzgerald, and Luke Champine, along with Zorp’s Edward Amsden, will be presenting.

Shrubbery

Shrubbery is a long-term project to a deliver on some of Urbit’s most ambitious and exciting promises. A re-write of the Gall and Clay vanes, Shrubbery will deliver an Urbit ecosystem in which code and data are one—and true interoperability between all different components of the Urbit system is possible.

New Hoon Academy Cohort
